We’re looking for compassionate and friendly volunteers to support our independent living residents during day trips. Our residents are fully capable but occasionally need a bit of help with walking or just a friendly face to accompany them on their outings. If you enjoy meeting new people and want to make a difference in someone's day, we would love to have you on board!
What’s involved:
Accompanying residents on occasional day trips
Providing light support with walking or mobility (e.g., offering an arm or guiding them through busy areas)
Offering a warm and friendly presence to make the outing more enjoyable
Assisting with minor tasks, such as carrying bags etc
What we’re looking for:
A kind, patient, and sociable person who enjoys spending time with others
Someone comfortable supporting others in a gentle, respectful manner
A positive attitude and willingness to make someone’s day a little brighter
Why volunteer with us?
Make a real impact: Help our residents enjoy outings and experiences they may not otherwise feel comfortable doing alone.
Flexible schedule: Volunteer on trips that fit into your schedule—no regular commitment required.
Enjoyable and social: Meet wonderful people, both residents and fellow volunteers, in a fun, relaxed setting.
Personal fulfilment: Knowing you’re making a difference to someone’s life by simply being there and offering your company.
