Becoming an Approved Contractor/ Supplier

As a registered charity with limited resources, we aim to maximise these in fulfilling our charitable objects. Our suppliers play a crucial role in enabling us to achieve our charitable objects. We aim to work with suppliers who share our values and avoid business practices which harm the environment or individuals and communities.  This includes zero tolerance of modern slavery in all its forms:

Telecare and Door Entry Systems Maintenance Contract

Contract Term: Three Years

My Trust invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced contractors for the provision of maintenance and support services for telecare and door entry systems across its almshouse portfolio.

The portfolio comprises properties located primarily within Birmingham and Solihull, with additional sites across the wider West Midlands region. The telecare infrastructure predominantly consists of Legrand XT and XT2 systems installed within independent living properties and communal blocks.

The successful contractor will be required to provide a responsive, resident-focused, and compliant service to ensure the continued operation and reliability of critical telecare, fire alarm integration, and door entry systems.

The contract will include:

  • Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)

  • Reactive repairs and fault rectification

  • Emergency call-out response

  • Supply and replacement of standard parts

  • Labour associated with repairs and maintenance

  • Testing and certification, where applicable

  • Support for integrated systems

  • Technical advice and reporting

  • Asset and lifecycle information updates

 

Interested organisations should have demonstrable experience in the maintenance and support of telecare, warden call, assisted living, and door entry systems, including experience of Legrand XT and XT2 systems or equivalent technologies.
