We are excited to share that after more than three years of close collaboration - including shared leadership and back-office functions - the Trustees have agreed in principle that, from 1 April 2026, Sir Josiah Mason Trust and The Yardley Great Trust Group will formally come together as Mason Yardley Trust (also known as MY Trust).

This marks a significant milestone in the long and proud histories of the charities that make up SJMT and YGT, spanning over 671 years. While we remain deeply rooted in our heritage -particularly our role as Almshouse charities - we are looking ahead with confidence and excitement as a stronger, unified organisation.

Mason Yardley Trust will act as the corporate Trustee for four linked charities:

• Sir Josiah Mason Trust

• Sir Josiah Mason Almshouse Charity

• Yardley Great Trust

• The Yardley Charities

We would like to reassure you that this change is not expected to have a significant impact on the services we provide. The primary changes will relate to governance and administration.

There are no significant changes proposed to staffing arrangements as a result of this announcement, and we will continue to engage with colleagues and their representatives on any proposed changes as part of the ongoing process.

From April, we will introduce:

• New branding

• A new website: www.mytrust.org.uk

• New social media channels

• Updated email addresses ending in @mytrust.org.uk

Please note that our existing websites and email addresses will remain active for at least 12 months to ensure a smooth transition.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me or a member of the team. We look forward to sharing further updates with you in the coming months.

Kind regards,

David Healey

Partnership Chief Executive

The announcement on the SJMT website gives a clear sense that the Trust is focusing on future planning and strengthening its long-term impact, especially through collaboration and improving services for the communities it supports. It feels like a thoughtful step forward rather than just an administrative update, with emphasis on sustainability and better outcomes for residents. The tone is quite reassuring overall, showing careful consideration of change rather than rushing it. Reading it also reminded me how structured guidance matters in many areas, including academic work where rapid assignment help can be useful during busy periods. Services like assignment services often come up in that context when students need extra support managing deadlines and workloads.
