We are really pleased to share our Annual Impact Report with you for April 2020-March 2021.
The findings in this report really do reflect the challenges and different experiences felt by residents in housing and in care, as well as the overwhelming dedication of staff and the support we received from our local community.
The results of surveys in care are overwhelmingly positive and a real improvement on last year.
The results from housing residents were not as positive in some areas as last year and this really reflects the experience of residents in housing who have been far more isolated and who have not been able to access the services, facilities and interaction that they would normally have. However, residents clearly hold the Housing Manager and staff team in high regard with noticeable improvements in this area as well as in other areas.
This survey is very much a snapshot of the time and whilst we are benchmarking ourselves against like organisations, these organisations completed their survey almost 12 months before us and before the full impact of Covid-19 and lockdowns was felt.
In line with one of our core values, we believe this is an extremely honest and transparent summary of experiences and great achievements over a very difficult year with some lessons which we can take to make things even better in the future.
