This week is National Apprenticeship Week, an opportunity to promote the fantastic work of our apprentices across the Trust. We employ apprentices in our catering, maintenance, care and our customer service team.
James, our Maintenance Apprentice has been with the Trust 12 months now and here are his thoughts on his apprenticeship:
"I really enjoy doing an apprenticeship as I learn on the job and gain experience whilst getting paid. I feel an apprenticeship is the best way to learn and get the help and support that I need. I enjoy going to college one day a week and feel there is a good balance between theory and practical for my qualification. I am hoping to qualify and work for myself one day in the future and think completing my apprenticeship will put me in a good position when looking for a job in the future, as I will have gained the experience others my age may not have had."
