July is Good Care Month

Carer’s month is a regular awareness campaign to bring caring out into the open – recognizing the contribution carers make to families and communities throughout the UK.

Longer working lives mean more of us will be caring alongside work. Caring is something that affects everyone and at the heart of everything we do. Recognition is so important, as caring is one of the most important things any of us do in our lives.

We recognise, support and celebrate the dedication carers put into their work every day at SJMT.

From our wellbeing support workers in our independent living, our domiciliary care staff across SJMT, the carers in our extra care service Alexandra Court, to our care home staff at Alexandra House. Where would we be without them and the support they give to those who need their patience, positivity, and kindness?

We value all the wonderful carers who want to help others who face obstacles and don’t let it get in the way of their determination to make a difference in someone’s life.

We admire those who support the elderly, disabled people, and anyone of any age who requires a carer to make their lives better for them.

It’s essential to celebrate and appreciate the importance of carers and the wonderful job that they do.
