The past couple of months have been an exciting time for the Trust, during which we have been looking at who we are as an organisation and what we want to achieve in the future. 

Lots of people have been involved in helping us look at what we should be doing as an organisation to make a difference to the lives of local people in the coming years. Now there is a chance for many more people to have a say.

We are really excited to be able to share with you our proposed Mission, Vision and Values.

As an organisation, we think it is really important that we have a plan of what we want to achieve in the future.  We call this our Strategy. Between 2018 and 2023, we’re going to be ‘Building on Strong Foundations’ by working across 5 areas:

 

To be a leading provider in Birmingham and Solihull

We will raise our profile and work more in partnership & collaboration.

 

To help more people

We will initiate a long term development and expansion plan for our sheltered housing provision, support older people in the community, grow a range of new services and opportunities across Birmingham and Solihull to support far more people affected by poverty, particularly young people and we will look at how we can best support carers. 

 

To maintain financial sustainability and to grow

We will expand the places our funding comes from, make better use of the assets we have and ensure that our services are efficient and sustainable.

 

To be the best we can be

We will ensure that our services are of the best quality, that we recognise the expertise of people who use our services, that we make the best use of digital technology and ensure that all we do promotes and recognises the value that equality and diversity bring to our organisation.

 

To be an employer of choice

We will ensure that we are well led and that we value and invest in our workforce so that they can achieve the best outcomes for the people they support.
