Kidderminster

Kidderminster is the largest town in the Wyre Forest District, just 17 miles south west of Birmingham and is made up of many Victorian buildings.

The River Stour and the Staffordshire and Worcestershire Canal run through the Town which is also home to the unique Museum of Carpet and a starting (and finishing point) for the world famous Severn Valley Heritage Railway.

It was also the birth place of Sir Josiah Mason and the home of Thomas Banks, the founder of Thomas Banks Almshouses.
