Church Gardens
Church Gardens, Heath Town, Wolverhampton, WV10 0BP
Church Gardens is a beautiful terrace of Grade II listed, Jacobean style almshouse cottages. They are located approximately 1.5 miles from the town centre of Wolverhampton and accessed down a small lane. It adjoins a cemetery, bisected by a main footpath and avenue of large trees, leading to the historic Holy Trinity Church. The boundaries of the cemetery are also tree-lined, contributing to the amenity and green feel of the area. The Holy Trinity Church (Listed Grade II) is the parish church of Heath Town and forms an impressive landmark with its tall tower and spire.
The cottages provide independent living for people over the age of 50 with a preference for older people in financial hardship with an association to the Church of England.
Each cottage is self-contained with a downstairs lounge, refurbished kitchen and toilet. Upstairs, there is a bedroom and refurbished bathroom.
At the rear of the property is a secure enclosed courtyard with parking.
Our Housing manager offers a monthly visit to residents and there is an option of having a 24 hour Warden Call system installed.
