Volunteering

There are opportunities for retired and senior volunteers to drive our older residents to hospital appointments, shopping trips and to other events. They read and share skills, run singing & dance sessions, arts & craft classes, research and record local or family history, help residents use the computers and internet facilities we provide, they befriend isolated or lonely older people, and much, much more besides.

We are often looking for new volunteers who are able to give their time to supporting and befriending our older residents and if you feel that this is something you could do then do please contact us.

Our volunteers come from a wide variety of backgrounds and the one thing they all have in common is; they all find it hugely rewarding.
